Meditation for Beginners- Resources to get you started



Meditation and Lockdown have become one of the most unlikely pairings of the past year. There has been a huge surge in the popularity of meditation since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has turned many skeptics (like ourselves) into daily users of the practise.


About 50,000 to 90,000 thoughts are rushing through our brains everyday, and due the lack of distractions and external entertainment from our homes, these thoughts can consume our days and become overwhelming. Meditation gives our minds a chance to recalibrate, and induces a heightened state of awareness and focused attention. Various studies have shown that this can help relieve stress and also manage anxiety.


At KC Peaches, we are in no way experts in the world of mindfullness. However we would like to use this blog as a hub for resources to give you a head start, how to go about it, and what form of meditation you think might work best for you!
